Nearly 140 outstanding young middle and senior reserve cadres from 8 business units in Mainland China attended a 5-and-half-day session of study and exercise. Chairman Liu Zaiwang, CEO Xu Xingli and some leaders from the Beijing Office were present in the training session.
To ensure the proper implementation of the training, the Group made well-designed arrangements regarding the training scheme, course system, lectures and mode of teaching organization. The program covers business development, integrated innovation, internal management and knowledge structure of cadres. In addition to 10 external training courses, the program also included 12 internal training courses. Experts from government departments and well-known professors from famous universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University were invited to give lessons. The program consists of outdoor development training and personal presentation. Featuring rich content, wide coverage of knowledge and strong relevance, the program is made up of professional courses concerning strategic decision-making, organizational development and leadership, macro-economic policies, capital operation, financial management, marketing, health care, laws and professional image building, which enables the trainees to grasp a full understanding of the key function management factors under the framework of corporate operation as well as relevant professional fields.
At the opening seminar, Chairman Liu Zaiwang made a profound speech. According to him, talent is the key to the development of Jangho Group and represents the foundation for the Group to realize rapid development, so the training of reserve cadres is the first priority for cadres at all levels and the most important project for all business units. He urged all business units to train talents consistently.
Cadres should demonstrate leadership, by not only making plans, but also guiding teams and cultivating successors. Whoever is more learned is my teacher, and whoever is more righteous is my model. Cadres and leaders should not only be skilled, learned and visionary, but also act as a role model for employees. Meanwhile, they should be strict with their subordinates, as a strict teacher produces outstanding students.
Chairman Liu stressed that Jangho Group evaluates employees based on capability rather than background and is willing to give employees opportunities and invest in talent training. He urged the reserve cadres to have the courage to assume responsibilities, so as to take greater responsibilities and make greater achievements. He also urged cadres at all levels to pursue the “championship”, work hard to improve their expertise and quality, firmly hold their “battlefields”, act with the spirit of craftsmanship and become the “No.1” in their respective business areas.
Chairman Liu pointed out that the Group is in urgent need of integrated talents with broader vision to meet its need for multi-industry development. He said that the changing employment environment calls for higher quality talents. He emphasized the need for adjusting the policy and method of employment based on the changes in the employment environment, so as to recruit suitable personnel for the rapid development of Jangho Group.
Chairman Liu also stressed that talent development is based on cultural recognition and that only by appreciating the corporate culture can the employees be more proactive, creative and passionate. He said that Jangho Group enjoys an outstanding corporate culture. He urged the reserve cadres from all business units to further strengthen integration, deepen their understanding of Jangho Group’s core values and corporate culture, and translate them into daily behaviors consciously to form synergy and core competitiveness of the Group.
Chairman Liu said that the training session is not only a learning process, but also represents an opportunity for exchanges with leaders, mutual learning and competition as well as the integrated innovation of all business units. He urged all trainees to take the advantage of this opportunity, take the training session as a new start point and embark on a magnificent journey of career.
CEO Xu Xingli delivered the first and most important course named Management System of Jangho Group, which was impressive and insightful. Mr. Xu elaborated on the Group’s strategic position, development direction, management system, internal control, risk, rule of law, performance evaluation and corporate culture in terms of the Group’s strategic planning, management system and corporate culture, deepening the trainees' understanding of the Group’s operation and management system. He also put forward specific requirements concerning the basic quality and professional ethics for reserve cadres, and urged them to strengthen learning, improve professional quality and become a disciplined, responsible and decent member of Jangho Group.
After over 5 days of training and exercise, Mr. Xu made a speech of completion summary. He pointed out that the completion of the training session is not the end point of learning, but a new start point for life. He said that knowledge is infinite and that learning requires insistence, in particular concentration. A grasp of mundane affairs is genuine knowledge, and understanding of worldly wisdom is true learning. He hoped that all the trainees would take the completion as a new start point, focus on details in learning and work, insist on learning, understand the trend of times and the bigger picture, and continue to improve their expertise.
Mr. Xu stressed that the master teaches the trade, but the apprentice’s skill is self-made. He said that only by translating what a person has learned from books and his teacher into his own knowledge and skills and putting them into practice can he really achieve the purpose of learning and make a difference. He said that learning is a way to look up at the starry sky, but we should be down to earth, make unremitting efforts and do well in our own business.
Mr. Xu urged all the trainees to communicate what they have learned from the training session to their fellows and help them grow, so as to jointly embark on a magnificent journey of life.
The exercise wrapped up the 5-and-half-day training session. The training session was well organized, linked closely and full of highlight. The teachers from Peking University and Tsinghua University as well as external experts offered well-informed and unique insights, enlightening the trainees and benefit them a lot. Internal trainers provided practical and pertinent training to cause resonance among the trainees. All the trainees listened carefully, volunteered to ask questions, engaged in intensive exchanges and completed their learning tasks successfully. The training session achieved the expected purpose and good results.
One can learn more by reading books after experiencing a hundred battles, and one can accomplish more by working hard after standing tests. We believe that all the trainees will be more determined to achieve their goals and open up a magnificent chapter of life on the inexhaustible and broad stage of Jangho Group with high morale!
