Achieving Legendary Glory with Inventive Mind — Jangho Group Wins Eight Gold Medals

According to the appraisal of the Chinese Construction Industry Association, eight projects undertaken by Jangho Group won 2016-2017 China Luban Prize for Construction Projects (national quality projects), including Shanghai Tower, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport Phase II Expansion, Office Tower at the White Magnolia Plaza at the North Bund of Shanghai, Watchtower of the Olympic Park, Beijing Yanxi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center, Yuexiu Financial Tower, Greatwall Complex No.1 Office Building, Harbin Opera House. 

Located at the Lujiazui Functional Area of Pudong District and covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters, Shanghai Tower is the final project of the Shanghai Lujiazui Skyscraper Construction Plan and is invested by Shanghai Tower Building Development Co., Ltd. with RMB 14.8 billion yuan. The building, 632 meters high, is the tallest building in East China and the second tallest one in China. Shanghai Tower, Jinmao Tower (420.5 meters high) and Shanghai World Financial Center (492 meters high) form the golden triangle of Pudong Lujiazui Financial City and depict the skyline of the skyscrapers in Shanghai.

Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport Phase II Expansion (T2 terminal, integrated traffic transfer center and tower area) has an overall floorage of 270,000 square meters. The curtain walls mainly include glass curtain walls, aluminum panel curtain walls, terracotta panel curtain walls, taxi canopies and so on. The airport has become one of the most modernized airports in Central China, and is a landmark in Zhengzhou.

Shanghai White Magnolia Plaza, with a height of 320 meters, is located in Puxi District. Looking like an elegant white magnolia, it stands on the bank of Huangpu River. As a symbol of the era and the revitalization of the North Bund, it rises in response to the world's focus on the eastern world as a world-class urban complex. Effected by its remarkable height and the climate, the project faces great difficulties in construction survey, installation and safety. Each floor of the individual buildings has geometric changes, numerous types and specifications and the angles with the main structure vary to different degrees,  making the site installation extremely difficult. Its top looks like a white magnolia and has great spatial curved surface changes, which requires complicated processes and great construction technology.

The watchtower is located at the center area of the Olympic Park and is the tallest building here, with a total land area of 81,437 square meters and a total height of 248 meters. Its complicated and irregular body and inverted trapezoidal structure bring a lot of challenges in  the design and construction, including the building and stress calculation of special-shaped structure, the model establishment and glass division, the construction, positioning and stress calculation of special-shaped structure beams, the location of special-shaped outer curtain walls, the production and positioning of tree-like special-shaped components, and the establishment of the tower crown structure calculation model .

Yuexiu Financial Tower (also known as Zhujiang New Town Wealth Center ) invested by Guangzhou Construction and Development Co., Ltd. is 309.4 meters high and has curtain walls with an area of about 75,000 square meters. The project has a complicate curtain wall structure composed of 7 major systems and 16 minor systems. The main curtain walls include unit glass curtain walls, corner flying wing glass curtain walls, frame glass curtain walls, corner frame aluminum panel curtain walls, frame stainless steel plate curtain walls, cable glass curtain walls, and so on. With a large construction volume and numerous systems, the tower, once completed, will become another dazzling pearl of Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town and shine like Canton East Tower and Litong Plaza.

Greatwall Complex is located at No.9 of Zhongbei Road in the central area of Central China Financial City which is the gateway of the provincial capital. The project has an overall floorage of 181,600 square meters. As for the curtain wall system, double-silver Low-E insulating laminated glass is adopted, effectively blocking more than 90% of infrared rays and 100 % of ultraviolet rays, and reducing indoor noise to about 40 db. The project is a city landmark jointly completed by Great Wall Construction Group and international top teams with a huge investment. It provides a more healthy and efficient green business platform for the enterprises, and is an indelible mark in the process of green office work in Central China.

Harbin Opera House is located in the Cultural Center Island in Songbei District of Harbin. With an overall floorage of 79,396 square meters, it has eight floors above the ground and one floor under the ground and is a landmark in Harbin which is subject to special-shaped hyperboloid design.. In this project, the fine decoration area undertaken by Beijing Gangyuan Architectural Decoration Co., Ltd. is 69,000 square meters, covering all floors of the building.
       Harbin Opera House is subject to three-dimensional hyperboloid design, so  its construction is extremely challenging to China and even the world. The introduction of natural light into the grand theater is a pioneering job in the world. The Project Department of Beijing Gangyuan Architectural Decoration Co., Ltd. overcame all kinds of technical difficulties and completed all construction work according to the highest decoration standards, which was highly recognized by the owner, and won the title of the Outstanding Unit of Harbin.
